Interactivity
As an accordion book, each page features a new category on how to find joy. With each category is an activity to complete that correlates. Some are fill in, postcards to write yourself, and drawing prompts. Each with the specific intention to invoke an emotion. My color palette consists of bright bold colors that give a feeling of youth and fun. I was very focused on not only the content of the book but the visual as well. I wanted the viewer to feel joy just by looking at it.
Results
The use of interactivity highlights the youthful energy of the design. While moving through each page and answering the prompts the reader is also learning new techniques to add joy to their life.
