Terracotta 3

Main Assets

The Terracotta dinner menu features a small menu of appetizers, entrees, and desserts. The use of hierarchy, color, and simple shapes differentiates each section. Chef notes are featured on the left hand side. An area where customers can learn the background of several popular meals offered. This helps give context and history into the Latin American Cuban cuisine, for interested guests. The cocktail menu pairs with the larger dinner menu. Several drinks are listed along with the choice of a personalized cocktail. This was chosen as a fun alternative that allows the guests to create a memorable and customized experience.

Encouraging Customers to Return

The coasters are the application of the personalized cocktail. Customers can fill out a coaster answering a few question to help the bartender create a cocktail custom to each individual. The cocktail is then brought back on the same coaster to each guest. Customers are encouraged to take their coaster home as a memento or reminder for future visits. The matchbook serves as another take home memento.

Results

I was able to create a full new brand for a restaurant that brings in a young professional demographic. The choices of adding customizable and personal features has created a celebratory and social atmosphere. Terracotta is now able to compete at a higher price point, with similar businesses in the area.
