Mapping Detroit Music Venues

BRIEF

Gathering data to uniquely categorize and show what is playing where. Using a collection of data made available by Data Detroit, I created a list of music venues in Detroit. Most were gathered through research, but also word of mouth for those smaller venues. I organized and compiled top music genres for each venue, narrowing them down to two. Each sound wave displays the color/colors of the most popular genres at the music venue. The larger the sound wave, the bigger the music venue.
